Took part in a Chi Running Workshop yesterday to try and pick up some tips on my form and how to improve my overall running style and performance. After a year of suffering with injuries resulting in major downtime on doing what I love to do (which has really peeved me off) I realised I clearly need to find a new running focus. Slightly taken aback by this morning’s Chi Social Run where I could put things I had learned into practice. My last 0.5km split pace time says it all. I felt relaxed and comfortable, breathing aerobically (so not busting my guts), I feel I could have easily continued this for longer. I have previously very rarely hit that pace. A totally unexpected result from spending just eight hours with some incredibly knowledgeable Chi Running Instructors.

Learn simple drills, exercises and visualisations to encourage optimal running economy, reduce the risk of injury and improve overall health.
This masterclass will look at specific hormonal and biomechanical factors that affect the female runner. You’ll gain an understanding of the functional role of the pelvic core. And look at the importance of balance, mobility, and stability by incorporating Chi Running principles into your training.
The masterclass is open female runners, health professionals, coaches, personal trainers of any fitness level.
