Our Instructor Training programme will help you hone your Chi Running technique, and provide you with the skills and tools to teach it to others. Online training programme and home study
Candidates will be supplied with a detailed Instructor Training Manual containing the core elements of the programme which needs to be learned in depth.
There are also a series of online webinars/video training. Candidates will be expected to attend, engage and contribute to the webinars and watch and study the training videos.
Online quizzes testing knowledge and understanding of the materials need to be passed before the candidate can attend the 2-day Teaching Assessment Workshop.
Candidates must practice teach and log at least 20 hours of pro bono teaching with friends or family members.
Advanced Technique Workshop/8 x 1-2-1 sessions with UK director or designated instructor
An Advanced Technique Workshop will deliver a deeper understanding of the Chi Running principles and components and assess candidates on their level of skill and competence in the Chi Running technique.
In order to progress to Instructor Training Weekend candidates must show a full understanding of the principles, practice and ethos of the Chi Running technique.
They must also be competent in all Chi Running drills and exercises and show that their own running form is at a standard that clearly demonstrates the technique.
Alongside the practical workshop candidates will get 2 x 1-2-1 sessions with the UK director
Candidates have the option to take 8 x 1-2-1 sessions with the UK director or designated mentor in lieu of an Advanced Technique Workshop.
Teaching Assessment Workshop
Before attending the Teaching Assessment Workshop candidates will be expected to demonstrate full knowledge of the Instructor Training Manual, complete the required modules of home study and achieved the required level of skill and competence at the Advanced Technique Workshop.
Candidates will be assessed on their skill of teaching the Chi Running technique.
In order to successfully complete the workshop the candidate must show that they can clearly communicate and demonstrate the key principles and components of Chi Running to a small group and on a one-to-one basis.
