OXFORD ChiRunning & Yoga for Runners

Improve your running technique, become more efficient in your breathing, reduce your risk of injury and enjoy your practice! In this workshop, you’ll learn the main elements of ChiRunning and Oxygen Advantage through a series of fun exercises, drills, visualisations, and practice. We’ll work on:

  • yoga for runners
  • postural alignment, relaxation, and balance
  • function breathing
  • smooth transition from walk to run
  • optimal cadence (strides per minute)
  • mental focus and body awareness

You’ll learn how to develop a skill and create a life-long programme for fitness, health, and general well-being. Suitable for walker and runners of all levels from complete beginners to seasoned marathoners and triathletes. Suitable for any age and level of fitness. Includes individual video observation.

Programme for the day:

  • 09:00 Introduction, tea, and raw energy balls
  • 09:15 Yoga for Runners with Zena Kidd-May (all levels welcome, even inflexible students!)
  • 10:30 Getting started in ChiRunning and the Oxygen Advantage with Gray Caws
  • 12:45 Light lunch
  • 13:30 Breathe light, breathe right with Gray Caws
