Phil has always had a passion for inspiring people to do things they thought they could never achieve, through 25 years of behavioral coaching in his day job and helping friends with personal challenges.
He is happiest outdoors, climbing mountains, running trails and recently completed a 50k endurance run in Snowdonia, He also loves sports climbing and bouldering with his daughter.
Chi Running has changed Phil’s running from a purely physical discipline to a mind-body practice in which he can be in the moment, listening to the body.
This inspired him to help others discover the joy of running in this way, to enable them to achieve what seems out of reach in running and in life.
To be able to show people that there are ways to make this remarkable sport that bit easier and more fun and reducing the chance of injury is something Phil is passionate about.
